Argentine-born, naturalised Brazilian.

What the gallery's page does not tell you. Leaving Brazil: no permit required. On arrival in the United States this is an original work of art under Chapter 97 of the tariff schedule and enters free of duty, and the 12.5% forced-labour duty that has applied to Brazil since 24 July 2026 does not reach it either, under the informational-materials subheading. At 70cm on its longest side this is checked-baggage size in a hard tube or case if it is unstretched, and a crate if it is not. At $1,340 it sits in the middle of what Salvador galleries publish online.

We do not sell this work and take nothing from its sale. The price above is the gallery's, read on its own page on 15 September 2026; the gallery can change it at any time and the figure it shows today is the one that counts.
